Haiti - The Need is Great (YouTube)

Some of our team just returned with fresh video footage from Haiti. It is both heartbreaking and inspirational to watch. Watch it now and share the link with your compassionate friends.

TENTS AND WATER

As you can see in the video, hope is alive and well in Haiti and the leaders in local churches are doing all they can to help their neighbors. Here are the two essentials your donations can provide today to make life bearable for children and families.

Tents: Like the pastor said in the video, tents are like gold in Haiti. The rainy season is coming and everyone knows they need a tent to survive two months of Caribbean weather. We need to purchase 1,000 four-person, waterproof tents with tarps.

Water: Clean water is so important to the health of the earthquake victims. With 1 million people living on the streets, clean water is nearly impossible to find. We plan to purchase 2,000 filters to respond to this need, but we need your help.

Food Paks: CHF’s Food Pak® is a 20 LB box of nutritious foods that can supplement a family’s food needs for a week. These are used as relationship building tools to help churches meet the pressing needs of hurting families.

PLEASE HELP

For about $65 each, we should be able to supply a family with a waterproof tent and a household water filter to help them through this crisis. In addition, we will supply Food Paks and French Creole bibles for the churches to provide as ministry tools. Again, our desire is to supply these items to a minimum of 1,000 impacted families. To do so, we are seeking to raise at least $65,000 in the next few days.

Three ways that you can help
