Dave Phillips is the founder and president of Children's Hunger Fund. Since 1991, Children's Hunger Fund has distributed more than $500 million in aid, bringing hope to children in more than 70 countries worldwide.

Dave has been active in community service work in the Los Angeles area since graduating from Westmont College in 1984. From 1984 to 1991, Dave served as Director of Operations for World Opportunities International, an international relief organization located in Hollywood, California. There, he developed a food program servicing over 350 agencies, distributing an average of 2.4 million pounds of food each month to poor families in South Central Los Angeles.

In 2004, CHF distributed over $78 Million in humanitarian aid to needy children and families across America and around the world. Dave is proud that CHF’s operating costs are well below 1% of its total revenue.
