Who We Are
Children's Hunger Fund is not your typical charity. Fighting hunger is complex and we think it takes more than a handout to truly help a child. It takes relationships. We fight hunger using our unique in-home food delivery method to build trusting relationships with the needy. In short, we're making a practical, lasting difference in the lives of children and families because we get to know them. Through relationships, we can truly meet their needs.
About Us
We are Christian 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to alleviate the suffering of children in impoverished regions across America and around the world. Through strategic partnerships in targeted communities, we work to improve the lives of poor children and their families comprehensively, meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Since we began in 1991, friends like you have helped us distribute 1 billion dollars in food and other resources to serve the needs of more than 10 million children in thirty-five U.S. states and seventy-two countries worldwide.
Since the start, an average of 99% of our total contributions have been used for programs serving the needs of children.
