A Remarkable Charity
An estimated 925 million people around the world suffer from hunger and poor nutrition—preventable problems! Children’s Hunger Fund (CHF) serves those needy children and families in America and around the world!

CHF is a charity that improves the lives of children through food and clothing distribution, support of orphanages, feeding programs, disaster relief, toy distribution, and other projects. Since 1991, CHF has given $927 million in relief aid to children in more than seventy-two countries and thirty-five U.S. states. Since inception, an average of 99 percent of contributions to CHF has been used for programs serving children in need. CHF is recognized with “four stars” on Charity Navigator for our excellent program efficiency.

A Remarkable Partnership
In 2001, CHF and USANA began a partnership which has resulted in improved health and nutrition for children around the world. For over ten years, CHF and USANA have partnered together in a 5K Children’s Hunger Run to raise funds to help needy children and families. In 2006, CHF awarded Dr. Wentz with their highest honor for his passion to improve the health of orphans and needy little ones. In 2011, Dr. Wentz and Dave Wentz generously donated the proceeds of their best-selling book, The Healthy Home to CHF. For every ace scored at a WTA tournament, USANA donates $10 to CHF. So, when players score on the court, they also score a meal for a child. Together CHF and USANA have given millions of dollars worth of food and aid to children in need!

Food Paks
CHF delivers twenty-pound boxes of food directly into the homes of needy children and families. USANA has helped CHF distribute a total of 292,398 Food Paks—that’s a huge impact!

Medical Centers
Dr. Wentz and USANA have funded the building of medical clinics in Uganda, Cambodia, and a maternity wing in Malawi.

Transportation
USANA sponsors two CHF trucks, enabling CHF to distribute food and other essentials to children who would otherwise go without.
