Through the generosity of  Dr. Myron Wentz along with his company USANA Health Sciences and their dedicated family of associates, over $9 Million in cash and Usanimals™ have been directed toward improving the health of children served by Children’s Hunger Fund. Usanimals are now distributed regularly to children in orphanages in Uganda, India, Mexico, Phillipines, Cambodia, Ghana, Romania, Nicaragua, Perú, Liberia and El Salvador.

A Remarkable Charity

Children's Hunger Fund (CHF) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization with international reach. CHF‘s mission is to serve children in need across America and around the world through food and clothing distribution, support of orphanages and feeding programs worldwide, disaster relief, holiday toy distribution, and other projects that improve the quality of life of children in need. CHF has distributed approximately $850 million in relief aid to children in more than 100 countries worldwide.

More than 99% of revenue goes to programs serving children in need.

A Remarkable Partnership

Through Dr. Wentz and the USANA Health Sciences family, CHF has received millions of dollars in cash and product to aid needy children. Nearly 5,000 children living in orphanages in Mexico, India, Perú, Liberia, Romania, Cambodia, and Uganda have received Usanimals on a daily basis. USANA’s support also provides food, clothing and hygiene products to thousands of needy children across America and around the world.

That’s not all.
$9 MILLION DONATED:
The USANA family has donated $9 million in cash and product.


CHF FOOD PAK PROGRAM: Financial contributions have allowed CHF to expand its support to more than 1,000 needy families in the United States and selected countries. Each family generally has five or more children and receives regular deliveries of food, clothing, hygiene items and other aid.

UGANDA: Nearly 3,500 orphans and school children receive daily allotments of Usanimals. USANA associates have worked on an orphanage building project in Ggaba, funding several orphan homes. The Wentz Medical Centre which opened in Ggaba, Uganda in 2005, treats infections, malaria, malnutrition and much more.

MEXICO: 250 Children at two orphanages receive daily allotments of Usanimals. CHF has expansion plans for registration in Mexico in 2009.

CAMBODIA: Dr. Wentz personally funded the building of a second medical center in Cambodia, which opened in June, 2008.

CHF TRUCK SPONSORSHIP: Dr. Wentz and USANA Health Sciences supports CHF's domestic food/nutrition programs, by sponsoring the operation of two trucks, that deliver food for tens of thousands of families annually.

El SALVADOR, GHANA,  PERU, GUATEMALA, INDONESIA, LIBERIA, NICARAGUA, HAITI, MOLDOVA, ROMANIA, INDIA, NATIVE AMERICAN RESERVATIONS:
Daily allotments of Usanimals for 13,859 children were distributed around the world in 2008.

 

A Remarkable Opportunity

Gift certificate contributions of $12 USD ($18 CAD) per month places one child on Usanimals Nutritionals.
