Food:
Rice and Beans are always a difficult product to procure because of their prolonged shelf-life, but that’s also why it is in such great demand here at CHF. Dry goods are excellent staple foods and they travel well. CHF’s Food Pak Program benefits directly from your dry goods donation. Each Food Pak box is filled with a variety of staple foods and delivered directly into the homes of the children and families we serve. Hygiene:
This month, we are very low on shampoo and bar soaps. One of CHF's most useful but under-stocked programs is our Hygiene Pak. Many families will simply go without toothpaste, soap, or feminine products, because their food needs are more urgent. The Hygiene Pak is filled with those basic health items that we often take for granted.

Medicine:
Antibiotics are always in high demand. Our international distribution partners find that aside from food, the most important need they have is antibiotic medicines. Something as simple as a rash or minor cut can progress into a life threatening infection without the basic antibiotics that we have available to us.

Toys:
Toys for boys are needed right away. Our holiday and events programs provide children with the fun toys that their parents cannot afford. At this time, we are on track to supply the needs of the girls we serve, but we are short on the supply for boys. Plush toys, cars, and sports equipment are a perfect fit for these programs.

School Supplies:
With so many schools flooded or destroyed completely by the hurricanes, there are numbers of children without necessary school supplies. If you have access to pens, pencils, paper, notebooks, glue, rulers and staplers, or other school related items please consider making a donation to help those children to have a successful school year.
