We Moved!

CHF’s New Global Distribution Center Multiplies Help to Hungry Children

We moved! For several years, we’ve quietly searched for a new building to use as a launching point for greater impact in the lives of suffering children. I am happy to announce that we found the building and have taken possession of our new Global Distribution Center in Sylmar, California!

We won’t officially move out of our current building until January, but our new facility has already been the site for several important CHF events:

Ribbon Cutting

We invited special friends from political, sports, entertainment, and community circles to join together in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new Global Distribution Center. Guests enjoyed a tour of the facility, and special music. Best of all, they put their hands to work, wrapping gifts for needy children in Southern California!

Many Hands, One Voice

A group of caring volunteers gathered together for a night of music and wrapping. A band composed of worship leaders from local churches led us in a night of song and worship. Another highlight was the time spent wrapping toys to give to children who would otherwise get nothing this Christmas.

Toy Wrap

This year, we were thrilled to host this wonderful, festive time in our own warehouse. More than 2,000 individuals gathered together and united to wrap about 75,000 toys for children in need. Combined with the Toys Wraps in our other locations, about 3,500 volunteers wrapped over 100,000 toys!

We’re excited for all of the potential held in our new Global Distribution Center. It is no coincidence this major growth step is occurring at the same time as our 20th anniversary this month. God has been preparing us for such a time as this.
