Problems caused by unclean water add to the suffering of the poor. We provide clean water where we can.
One Drop at a Time
The despair of poverty is often compounded by disease and the myriad health problems caused by insufficient access to clean water. CHF works to provide clean water when and where it is needed most.
Water, Water Everywhere...
In some places, water seems to be everywhere, but that doesn't mean that it's clean. Animals, human waste, garbage, and parasites often contaminate water sources.
Crystal Clear
The need for clean water in developing communities is crystal clear. Children and families who collect water from contaminated sources are almost certain to contract life-threatening diseases like cholera, typhoid, and amoebic dysentery. Clean water is an essential factor in meeting the needs of poor children.
After the Haiti earthquake CHF worked with partners on the ground to provide bottled water, water filtration systems, personal filters, and funds for clean water projects that will benefit the whole community.
With your help, we will continue to provide clean water for those who need it, as opportunities arise.
