Familiar faces, good friends and hard workers of all ages give their time on CHF Volunteer Days, to help CHF feed hungry children. They fill Food Paks, package soap and toothbrushes, bag beans and pasta and wrap toys in the fast paced adventure that is the CHF workday. By employing volunteer families and groups from schools, churches and other organizations, CHF is able to keep costs low and process donated products quickly. Click here for a flyer.

What happens there?

Work – Get ready to work! Our 2-hour work days feature meaningful projects that impact the lives of children around the world. Your church may bag beans, pasta, or other food items. You may sort products for easier use or assemble boxes for our Food Pak, School Pak and Hygiene Pak programs. You may wrap toys for Christmas distribution events.


Witness – See the impact of the work being done in God’s name by churches around the world. Your church will experience the fraternal kinship of participating in the global work of the evangelical church.


Envision – During a short break, we will share our mission and purpose. We will highlight current programs and distributions to needy children worldwide, sharing our vision for compassionate ministry at home and abroad.


Unite – In the corporate world they call it “Team Building”. Volunteer Work Days at Children’s Hunger Fund are an opportunity to unite your church family. They will work together as one with the purpose of serving the needs of the poor. There is a task for everyone, young and old alike.

The work area is on a concrete floor so comfortable, closed toed shoes are recommended. We are closed on major holiday weekends – please call ahead to verify the schedule.
