Working with other organizations to help support the work of the church in compassion ministry is very important to us, because our desire is to find a range of good resources for our recipients. One relationship we have is with an organization called Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). We have worked with them for several years and just recently had Michael Edwards, our Ministry Development Coordinator of Eastern Europe, participate in a conference hosted by FMSC. This week he shares about the conference and how we can continue to pray for this partnership.

Thank You for Praying!

It was an honor to represent Children's Hunger Fund at the 4th Annual Partners Conference hosted by Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in Miami, Florida. Their mission is, "Feeding God's starving children hungry in body and spirit." With the use of volunteers, FMSC assembles packets of fortified rice and potato meals. These are then distributed to organizations like CHF who get them to children in need around the world.

We are grateful for the kindness of FMSC for inviting us to this special annual meeting. About half of FMSC's 92 partners were in attendance for the two day seminar titled "Transformation: A Journey Through the Relief Continuum." Each of the teaching slots was well organized and very informative.

FMSC intentionally created an environment that encouraged networking with other organizations who had similar hearts for compassion ministry, as well as relief and rehabilitation workers whose goal is to empower people toward sustainability. The conference ended with an opportunity for each partner to submit their request for FMSC food products in the year to come.
