Internships/Volunteer Specialists | Serve and Learn
As opportunities become available, Children's Hunger Fund offers the following unpaid volunteer service assignments at one of our regional locations (these are different from the regularly scheduled volunteer opportunities): Volunteer Specialist and Volunteer Internship. Please see the descriptions below for more information, and how to indicate your interest. We appreciate all our volunteers and enjoy serving the Lord together!
Volunteer Specialist
For qualified adults (generally post-college career individuals) who would like to use their professional experience and skills to contribute in specific areas of service at CHF, participating with us in the fulfilment of CHF’s mission. Volunteer Internship
For qualified college or high school students to gain valuable non-profit ministry operations experience under the supervision of experienced staff while both participating in the fulfilment of CHF’s mission and further developing their own ministry and professional skills; also eligible for college credit pending CHF’s review of educational institution requirements.
Internships generally take place during the following timeframes for the noted duration, though specific start and end dates may vary:
- Fall – Aug/Sep through Nov/Dec
- Spring – Jan/Feb through Apr/May
- Summer – May/Jun through the end of August
