Disaster Relief Fund

As God positions us to do so, Children’s Hunger Fund responds quickly in the wake of natural disasters with food and other aid, working through established relationships in the areas where the disaster has occurred.

In times of disaster, our goal is to equip the local church to reach those who have been impacted right in their own communities. We seek to provide victims of disaster not only with physical resources in their time of great need, but also with a caring relationship that will serve them beyond the days immediately following the event.

Often, the most efficient and effective way to help is to provide funds to our partners on the ground so necessary items can be purchased and quickly provided to suffering families. Such was the case when we were able to wire money to provide cots for children who were sleeping on the floor in shelters following the recent volcano eruption in Guatemala.

Disasters are unexpected, and the damage is immediate. The CHF Disaster Relief Fund allows us to respond with help and the love of Christ without hesitation.
